Cold Forging

Cold Forging

Cold forging is a manufacturing process in which metal is formed into a predetermined shape below its crystallization point. Cold forging can increase metal rigidity and helps shorten the time to produce complex metal parts, which are often difficult to produce by machining. This is a great, cost-effective choice for high production quantities.

ThermoMech’s highly accurate cold-forging technology can be used with aluminum, copper and stainless steel, and can achieve a minimum thickness as low as 0.8mm.
